Flexportal™ News is looking for beta testers

Flexportal™ LLC announced today that it is seeking beta testers for its FlexPortal™ News product.
To qualify as a beta candidate, you must be a small to medium sized daily or weekly publication (less than 200,000 readers) with a dedicated online staff person. Depending on the needs of your publication, there may be a small implementation fee. Hosting and support will be provided at no charge.
Flexportal™ News is not written in PHP, ASP or CFM. FlexPortal™ News is written in C++, and is designed for newspaper websites with high traffic loads and a need for lightning-fast performance. Day-to-day site maintenance is performed through simple, easy to use interfaces, and requires no web design skills. The built in site editor allows for the creation of virtually any layout. Design changes are quick and easy.

FlexPortal™ News' banner system accommodates any size banner, and allows for a myriad of scheduling schemes. Banner statistics are detailed and available real-time.

FlexPortal™ News is unique in the aspect that it allows the reader to design their own personalized news page. This investment by the reader makes the site "sticky" to them. This gives the reader a sense of control, rather than being force-fed information which may not interest them. FlexPortal™ News allows the reader to set up an account, pick the news categories, manage his or her own links, rearrange the page to their own desire, and even create a custom color scheme.
